There are 20 participating sites in Adult SMA REACH, the map below shows where these sites can be found.
The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are the sponsor site, meaning we have responsibility for the project overall, including - study design, funding sources, monitoring compliance to protocols and keeping regulatory bodies regularly informed.
Participating Sites by Region:
The table below shows all the participating sites involved in our study by region. It also details the name of each Principal Investigator (PI) of each site. PIs are responsible for the conduct of the study at their individual site.
*Dr Chiara Marini-Bettolo is the Chief Investigator for Adult SMA REACH and overall lead researcher for this research project. In addition to Dr Marini-Bettolo’s responsibilities with the research team at Newcastle, she is also responsible for the overall conduct of the research project.
